Moonstone is a family member of the Feldspar minerals and is very popular because of its magical white, blue glow that creates a fluid watery movement inside the stone. Moonstones are made out of moonlight, or so the mythology says.
Obsidian is formed by rapidly cooling magma; this resulting hardened material is volcanic glass also known as Obsidian. Obsidian has a typical deep black colour but due to inclusion of gas bubbles it may also get a golden sheen.
