1. What material is Vai jewelry made of?
All our jewelry is hypoallergenic. We use the best hypoallergenic Stainless Steel as base, the gold finish is 14 to 24 carat real gold Ion plated (PVD) Stainless Steel. We do not use brass for our jewels because brass is of a lower quality. Stainless steel jewelry will last much longer, will not stain and has no negative effects for your health.
Gold Ion Plating (PVD) on stainless steel jewellery:
Ion Plating, also known as IP Plating, Vacuum plating or PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition Process), is a new surface coating technique, now used in jewelry, that was developed by NASA scientists in 2010.
Difference between Ion Plating versus traditional Gold Plating:
Ion plating has a much higher scratch and colour resistance than traditional gold plating. Gold PVD coatings can be up to ten times thicker than traditional gold plating and provide better corrosion resistance to sweat, chlorine, etc.
Although IP plating can be used on any metal, stainless steel is a favourite choice because it provides a strong, affordable alternative to precious metals without sacrificing the appearance of the piece. When Ion plating is combined with stainless steel, the result is a hypoallergenic long-lasting piece of jewelry.

The stones that we process in our collections are always of natural origin. We do not use coloured stones, but always natural gemstones. Our pearls are also real cultivated freshwater pearls.

3. Are all products available in stock?
Every order is custom made so usually this is not a problem, but of course there is a chance that a certain type of stone will be out of stock. For a large order (+ 20 pieces) of the same item or type, it is recommended to contact us first.
4. Can I order my necklaces or bracelets in different lengths?
No, because this is not really needed. All bracelets and necklaces come with a 5 cm extender, so our regular sizes offered are accurate and will usually fit everyone.
5. Is packaging included with the order for the end customer?
Yes, for every piece of jewelry, a customized card and box is provided. This is automatically included with the order. We ensure that the presentation and visual merchandising of the Vai Collection concept is worked out down to the last detail. We support our retailers with free packaging, displays, photos…
6. Is there a warranty on my purchase?
The legal guarantee applies to all products in our web shop. This legal guarantee means that products must be or function as you as a consumer can reasonably expect.
7. What if I receive a wrong item or if my goods are damaged?
In the unlikely event that a product is damaged during transport, or you receive the wrong item, please send us an e-mail within 48 hours of receiving the package.
In case of a wrong item, please enclose pictures of the wrongfully received item.
In case of damage, please enclose pictures of the outside of the box including labels, inside of the box including packaging and pictures of the damaged item. Make sure to mention this on the delivery note of the courier. Together we will find a solution.
8. How do I display the jewelry?
Promotional material is included with every order that supports the sale of products. We provide 3 different displays per order free of charge.
1 display for earrings, 1 display for necklaces and bracelets and 1 display for a set (earring, bracelet, necklace).
Please do not forget to check the box on check-out to receive the free displays, only then will they be included in your order. We think of the environment so we want to avoid sending you displays you don’t need in case you already have enough.
More displays are available for purchase on our website if needed!
9. Can I use pictures / videos of your collection?
Vai Collection fully supports you as a retailer with the needed marketing and media tools to ensure a strong branding and a successful sale. Pictures are always available on white background, in detail and with a creative background and therefore suitable for all needs. We offer a full picture package with our logo, which is free to use in your online and offline communication as long as our logo remains visible.
No picture from this website without our logo may be reproduced and / or published, by means of print, photocopy, photo from photo, microfilm, digital or in any other way without prior written permission from us.
Contact us so we can provide you a download link to our “ready to use” picture and media package.
10. Why is it that some delivered gemstones have a slightly different colour or shape?
Please note that gemstones are creations of nature, therefore each fine gemstone has its own unique colour and shape, so there may be some variation and therefore not 100% identical as they are shown in the pictures.
