Olive wood is known for its strength and resilience. The natural oils in olive wood make it water resistant. Our olive beads are untreated, no olive oil or varnish has been applied to them. If you wish, you can occasionally treat the olive wood beads with some olive oil for a shinier effect.
Lapis Lazuli, also known as ‘lapis’ is not a mineral like other gems, it is a rock composed by several minerals. The inclusion of Lazuli gives the stone its heavenly rich azure blue colour. The combination of different minerals results in a gorgeous ultramarine stone that shimmers with gold flecks. Lapis Lazuli means ‘stone from the sky’.
