Serpentine stones are mineral gemstones created through a natural process called serpentinization. A process of oxidization due to a combination of heat and water at a very low temperature. The process gives the stone a texture that looks like the scales of snakes.
Jade is a mineral which is typically green although it may be yellow or white. In the Chinese empire Jade had a significant value comparable with gold in the west. Jade is also called the ‘imperial gem’.
Lava is a type of rock formed by a volcanic eruption, when the lava cools it becomes solid and porous. Due to the porosity, the lava stone is lightweight and therefore perfect to wear. It is also an ideal carrier for essential oil or perfume.

**This article is also suitable as a diffuser due to the presence of a lava stone in the design. Just simply add 1 drop of your favourite essential oil to one of the Lava beads. Discoloration of the lava may appear, which is completely normal.
